UNHP

We helped bolster UNHP's digital core and improve processes that could be better maintained through the internet while addressing the diverse needs of their users made up of funders, policy advocates, researchers, volunteers, and those directly impacted by their work.
Discipline:
Development, Interaction Design

Like many nonprofits, the biggest challenge in redesigning UNHP’s website was figuring out how to simplify the content and navigation while addressing the diverse needs of their users who are made up of funders, policy advocates and researchers, volunteers, and those directly impacted by their work.

We simplified the layout of the publications page so it would be easier to navigate for research and information; added an upcoming events section on the front page and created a streamlined RSVP process. We made the donation process easier and more trustworthy, increasing their online donations by over 50%.

We made the site responsive and targeted the content on the mobile site to their client base who don't have desktop computers handy.

With the site so successful, we were later asked to redesign their Community Resource Guide, a tool various researchers, organizations and media rely on for local NYC data.
